Patient Testimonies

I understand that it is stressful for most people to come to the dentist. I'm sometimes asked "will it be painless","what do you expect?" If a patient anticipates pain he will usually not be disappointed. as any little thing will be painful. My answer is, "

All I can promise my patients is I will try to make things as painless as possible but the world is not painless, I'm sorry that's just the way life is. I will also try to be as efficient as possible, that means not keeping patients waiting and getting done what needs to be done as soon as possible so they can get on with their life.

Over the years I have kept a list of patients comments and thought others might find them interesting.

After inserting a crown..."you can't tell which one is the crown"..."it feels like a real tooth"

 

After doing fillings on a 6 year old girl..."mama I didn't even feel it"

 

After giving a teenager a shot..."did you just give me a shot?...that was sweet"

 

After giving an adult a shot..."I didn't even feel the poke"

 

"that was supposed to hurt, I didn't feel a thing"

 

"it (the shot) didn't bring tears to my eyes"
